Laptop-less existence

This is the first time I have travelled without a laptop and it’s a bit like the ball and chain was left back home in a drawer. So I am getting to know my Universal Freedom keyboard well as I write with a Guatemala guide underneath the keyboard to create this illusory desktop feel. It’s time to go the way of the Reuters mojo. Now how to transmit photos and video straight to the blog without using Flickr or YouTube. Still trying to figure how to submit this post straight from my email to the blog using a browser. Basically, every kilobyte counts, about 2 cents to be exact since that’s what AT&T is charging me to download emails to my BlackBerry Pearl in Guatemala. It’s an experiment to be always on and it might cost me a bit, but it’s worth treading fearlessly.
